Calla missed once more and now she was beginning to feel less patient. Eventually, she only dived into the water now, despite the pup inside of her.

Azura noticed that both calla and grim were now catching up to her, in a small panic she waded into the and dove for the slick body that was swishing quickly through the water. 'Your mine.' She thought angrily.

Lifting his head out of the water with a limp fish in his mouth Grim smiled happily and tossed his catch on top of his other dead fish. He now had two fish, and was slowly gaining more hope. He noticed that Azura had caught another fish and Calla had finally caught one, both of them going further into the water. He looked nervously down at the water and thought about wading in until he remember the water dragging him down and filling his lungs, his eyes stinging and his body heavy like lead. Gulping he shook his head and decided to stay on land, he had never really had a fear of water before but nearly drowning yourself in the stuff can really change your view. So standing on land he dove his head in to grab another fish.

Calla caught a fish. She waded to the edge and set the dead catch on the bank before going to fetch more. She was tired but the competition was fierce. She had to keep up her game. Azura was out in the water with her while Grim stayed ashore. She chuckled. At least he catches fish.

Azura swam back to the bank to deposit her recent catch before submerging back into the depths of the water. This way they couldn't see you shadow and you weren't splashing as much. She bunched her muzzles again before heading in the direction she saw the water shift.

Pull his head up out of the water again Grimthorne shook the water from his face with another snort of disappointment, once again he had missed. Grumbling softly he looked at his competitors and much ot his delight, the hadn't had any luck either. With his hopes lifted the male went to try again.

Azura grumbled under her breath as she resurfaced. She looked up and watched a few clouds go by while she waited for the fish to come out again. She floated in the small ripples letting her legs rest before she began moving again.
