Azura tensed as she heard the soft sound come from somewhere down the river. Raising a paw she kept her eyes strained and she stood perfectly still. No movement was known only the rustling of her fur as the wind blew.

'Fishing' :

Grimthorne loomed over the river, his blue eyes intent and narrowed and his muscles tense, ready to pounce when needed. For a few second there was nothing, but he did hear Azura splash next to him which meant she may have caught something, but also meant she probably scared off the fish. Little more time passed before Grim saw a fish slither near his paws, eyes wide he dunked his head down, tempting to clamp his jaws around the creature.

'Fishing' :

Azura growled softly in her throat as she stepped back dripping without anything. Shaking her head to rid the water she stooped low again and waited. 'Remember, once you hit the water almost every fish will have its eyes on you.' Her mothers' voice gentle and prickling at the back of her mind. Closing her eyes she let out a shaky breath before refocusing on the rippling water. She waited and waited not caring for the sun on her back. 'There.' She thought just as she lunged forward more agilely hitting the water than her last attempt she just prayed she wasn't scaring all the fish away.

Grimthorne snorted in annoyance and pulled his head out from the water. His face was soaked now and he hadn't even caught anything, what a great start. Sitting back down with his paws in the water he went back to watching. He could hear Azura splashing around and soon enough he himself found himself plunging into the water, rushing to snap his jaws around a scaly body.

Calla had missed the catch and scramble back on her nails before she could fall in. With a snort she decided to try again. The other had caught at least one and she was proud for grimthorne. See, that wasn't so bad, she thought glancing in his direction before leaping for another fish.

'Fishing' :

Azura nodded in satisfaction as she pulled back with a wiggling fish. Tightening her jaws till all movement ceased from the fish she moved it away from the rivers edge and a bit up the bank where she dug a hole and hid it there for safe keeping's. After kicking some loose dirt and rocks she made her way back to the shimmering water where she prepared her next launch. It wasn't long till she saw another silver speck flash by.

'Fishing' :

Soon enough Grim had just tuned out calla and Azura's splashing, focusing purely on the fish. So far he had caught one, which he was quite proud of but glancing over at Azura he noticed the two fish beside her. If this was a competition Grmthorne was determined to win, and so he waited with his blue eyes fixed on the water. As a fish swam by once again Grim went in for the kill.

Calla missed again and she tipped forward into the water. Splashing and twisting, she struggled back to shore and panted a moment before going back to her place, water dripped from her coat. She noticed Grim and Azura had managed to get a catch but Calla had none yet. With a snort and mustering her strength, she went for another slab of fin like movement.

Azura set her second fish with her first before glancing towards the others. Taking note she realized grim had one and calla seemed to be swimming, she almost called out to the fae in worry but knew that would scare the fish. With a sigh she went back to the rivers edge and crouched.

Grimthorne growling in annoyance and pulled himself out of the water, shaking out his fur but stopping when a sharp pain shot through him. Sitting down he glared almost angerly at the water now, his tail lashing fiercely behind him. He was rather annoyed now, not with the fish but with himself cause he couldn't catch anything. Sure he had only just started but still it was pretty pathetic. With one more attempt at catching a fish the male dove again, aiming at the shining thin body in the water.
