Kamaji laughed loudly."A child you are, and you have much to learn."Kamaji raised his hands and from his finger tips, balls of swirling white shots from his fingernails."Fight me!"Kamaji yelled."Do not hold back.Let's see how strong a Shadow wielder really is."Kamaji hissed.Back in the clearing, Kitana was beginning to awaken.

Lupay snickered, "So much for getting food eh?" He rubs his hands together and black shadows slowly twist out from the space between his fingers. His eye color goes from blue to black and he smiles, "I won't hold back.." He sweeps one hand towards Kamaji, shadows lunge towards him, their writhing shapes twist around his arms and legs. Their needle like teeth sink in to his skin. Lupay watches his hood shadowing his eyes.

Kamaji winced as the shadowy teeth sank into his pale flesh but he still threw the ball of swirling light in Lupays direction giving a furious cry.Kitana opened her eyes and found that she was alone.She felt nausea but otherwise her head felt better than before.A medicine like taste was in her mouth and she swallowed.She rose on wobbly legs and closed her eyes, letting her thoughts reach out to anyone who could be around.She hoped the boys were alright.

Lupay stumbled and fell as he is hit with the ball of light. A battle of light and darkness, he thought. He snarled blinking away the bright light. He sent a cloud of shadows around Kamaji as Lupay stood up and regained his footing. He focused on the image of a large lion and began to shift.

Kitana caught the spitting image of her friends and gasped.They were fighting.With a growl she felt power within her and her body Change into a four legged animal.A wolf.She charged forward with a growl and swore she could see someone lurking in the shadows as she sprinted away.Kamaji fought the shadows off easily and readied a ball of light as he saw the boy begin to shift.Kitana ran through the woods an paused at a tunnel entrance where she raced inside and found the two of them ready to kill each other.The white wolf sprang forward with a growl, eyes, golden they were, flaring.She aimed to land between them.

Lupay caught in his anger, lunged forward. His shift finalized in to a white lion with a black mane and claws. His eyes were black, he was loosing control. He lunged at Kamaji with his long serrated claws outstretched towards him. Lupay had not seen The white wolf, Kitana, as he leaped.

Kitana had enough time to whip her head around and snap her jaws on the white lions mane but Kamaji, in his rage, had thrown the ball of light and it struck Kitana in her side as her body collided with the lions and she released lupay, letting out a yelp of pain.She hit the ground squirming in pain, yelping and whining.Kamaji stared incredulously down at the wolf, breathless, and stiff.

Lupay snarled as a wolf clung on to his mane. He fell as the wolfs body collided with his as the light struck her. Realizing he scent instantly shifted back and crouched next to the wolf. His eyes were wide in disbelief. He looked at Kamaji tensely then back to the wolf form Kitana.

Kitana couldn't shift back, couldn't focus on doing so.The pain rippled through her body and she yelped a whine.Her thoughts reached out to the both of the boys."I warned the two of you not to fight."She had curled her lips in a pain filled snarl, her fangs glistening.Kamaji said nothing, nor did he move.

Lupay exhaled hearing her words. He looked at her not sure how to help her, then he notices that Kamaji isn't doing anything. "Why aren't you helping her!" His voice was raised slightly and he looked to Kamaji desperatly.

Kamaji was staring at the white wolf still stunned before he blinked at Lupays words and met his gaze."She..."He trailed off.The truth could not be said by him.He wouldn't say it.The spell he had used-It was life threatening.He watched the wolf squirm in pain.Kitana, restless, and full of pain raised her head weakly before it dropped to the ground and she panted from the effort.An unknown stranger lurked in the shadows, watching the three with interest.

Lupay stood up and says, "How can you stop her pain? Please!" He gestured to the writhing wolf. His anger turned to desperation as he watched the wolf trying to lift her head.

Eresain stood in the shadows watching the unlikely trio. He had been following them for some days now, after all they had been trailing his woods. His eyes lingered on the white wolf, she was suffering of whatever that elf had done. He then looked to the one who deals with the shadows, he seemed head strong but reckless... Eresain decided to wait before he showed himself to the trio.

Kitanas movements were becoming slow.She whined long and terrified.She smelled someone nearby but didn't know who.

Kamaji was impassive.He was too angry at the boy to think straight.He didn't know who the wolf was and wondered if Kitana was alright."I don't care for wolves."He confirmed after a long moment."I'm going back for Kitana.Do what you want."He turned on his heel to leave.

Lupays eyes widen in disbelief, "Can't you smell it! This is Kitana! I thought you elves were good with everything but apperantly you can't even tell on of your own kind." He gestures widely to the wolf.


Eresain took note of the desperation. He slowly slunk from the shadows to the trio. His pale green eyes drifted from one to the other. He kept his stance tense, like a deer ready to flee. He spoke not a single word and instead stood still. Where he stood several odd plants grew. Eresain held up his hands with his palms out, he gestured his head toward the white wolf.

Kitana had gone still.She was too weak to thrash about, her life fleeing her body.Her golden eyes stared at a figure who had his hands raised to her.She couldn't think.Just stared.The gold started to fade from her eyes.

Kamaji turned back to the wolf and narrowed his eyes reluctant to listen to the boy.She glanced at a figure who stood nearby but what kamaji saw in the wolf's eyes made the elf gag in horror."Kitana."He whispered.Kamaji moved and knelt beside it, stroked it's soft fur with tear gathering though they never fell.He knew there was nothing he could do.

Lupay looked to the person who had just stepped out of the shadows, he tensed slightly at the boys silence but noticed he wasn't a threat. He noticed it seemed he wanted to help and Lupay nodded to him.

Eresain slowly knelt down by the dieing wolf. He set a gentle hand Kamajis shoulder and rested a hand on the wolfs flank. From his hand soft green tendrils wound through the wolfs fur. The bird had stopped singing and the grass grew longer and Eresains intense gaze. The tendrils went in to the wolfs mouth and eyes. He exhaled softly and pulled away. The tendrils had pulled away, they had fixed what they could with the wolf. Eresain started to back away from them knowing he should leave.

Kitana felt the life flowing through her suddenly and she arose from darkness.Her eyes blinked and she felt herself Change, gasping from the effort.Kamaji sat beside her, lupay opposite of him.Her gaze met the strangers.She reached into his mind and her voice sounded.'Thank you.'Her voice was almost a whisper.

Kamaji wrapped his arms around Kitana, the tears now falling."Kitana."He said in more of a sigh than a statement.

Lupay gave the two some space but he smiled knowing she was ok. He looked to the other person here. "What is your name?" Lupay asked the question with pure curiosity.

Eresain looked at the girl. His eyes lingered on her before he looked to the Shadow Wielder. He spoke a single word, his voice was rough and it almost reminded one of the way bark feels. "Eresain." He turned and headed in to the shadows. When he left the bird began to sing again. His foot steps were silence for her wore no shoes. He already new he would be coming back to the trio soon...

Kitana watched the boy go before she staggered to her feet and kamaji followed after her.She swung a back hand at him and quick as lightening did the same for Lupay."You both are fools."She said in a thin voice.

Lupay let out a quiet growl surprised by Kitanas action. He tensed but didn't say anything. Instead he looked towards Kamaji then to the ground slightly ashamed.

Eresain looked back hearing two sharp cracks. He smiled a bit already knowing that the girl had taught the boys a lesson. He continued walking back towards the area where the male elf had fought the Granu. Eresain looked at the wounded creature laying on its side. He climbed up on its side and healed the wound. The Granu stood up and Eresain held on to the creatures course fur and rode it towards the clearing where the trio first came in.

Kitana growled herself when Lupa did."I told the two of you never to fight!"She yelled.She couldn't believe the two of them."You nearly had me killed."

Kamaji blinked and shame passed over his face the left cheek red from kitana's hand."I did not know it was you."He said lamely.

Lupay flinched as she raised her voice. He opened his mouth to argue but found no point in it. "I'm sorry Kitana..." Thats all he said. His eyes had gone back to a mournful blue and he kept looking past Kitana and not at her.

Eresain sat on the Granu until it stopped a ways away from the clear pool in the center. He then jumped off and strode towards the pool. He knelt by it and cupped his hands in the water, he then took a drink from the water and turned back to the Granu.

Unbelievable she thought.She growled and stormed off.She left the clearing and passed the area where they had been attacked running she was now.She felt the change and then she was a white wolf with golden eyes again.she burst into the clearing where the portal once was and paused as she took in the site.She saw the Granu and whined.The boy who saved her was there to.She felt nervous, the anger clouded in her mind.

Lupay watched her go and muttered, "Nice going..." He turned and started walking further in to the woods.

Eresain blinked senseing the girl again. The Granu sensed her too and started to making a huffing sound. Soon the Granu let out a roar and turned to her ready to charge. Eresain shouted something in a language known to only the forest dwellers. The Granu made a whineing sound and turned tail running back in to the woods. It ran right past Kitana with out a side ways glance. Eresain looked at Kitana and gestured for he to come to him.He pale eyes friendly and vacant at the same time.

Kitana yelped and flung away as the beast left by a language Kitana did not know and saw him beckoning her towards him.Ears flat and head low, she approached him cautiously.He may have saved her life but her senses told her something was up.She paused a few feet from him and watched him steadily with careful golden eyes.
