Eresain silently cursed himself for being so foolish. He had not choice but to show himself. Slowly, he drifted out from the dense trees behind Tolem. Eresain then moved further over to the side so he could see the elves face, he glanced at Kitana and then looked back to Tolem. "I am going to have to ask you to let her go." His tone was light and polite but dangerous and menacing at the same time.

Lupay stayed crouched in the shadows sure he wasn't spotted yet. He was ready to defend and remained completely silent.

Kitana clenched her jaw as Eresain stepped out from the trees.Tolem turned his head to look at him."You look familiar, boy."He said with raised eyebrows after skimming him.

Eresain examens the elf and narrows his eyes, "I don't believe we have met..." he spoke because he did not wish to touch this elf to communicate with him through thoughts. He glanced to Kitana as if to ask if she was alright.

Lupay watched closely

Tolem grinned."Ahhh yes I remember you now."He moved his piercing gaze to Kutana."You were Kitana's first betrothed before Kamaji.Then I heard the Elder erased your memory my dear."He chuckled low in his throat."A beautiful thing like you is something any man would fight for.Your so possessive.So..."He paused for the right word."Beautiful."He caressed her cheek lightly.Then gripped her wrist."What's the Princess of our kind doing in a place like this with peasants?"He asked after a silence.

Kitana didn't answer.

Eresain stepped forward as Tolem touched her. "Yes, I was and am..." he said a hint of warning in his voice, he moved so he was nearly in front of Tolem and looked at him, "Why are you even here?"

Lupay blinked reafy to lunge forward sensing the Eresain was about to do something.

Eresain frowned at Eresains question."I was sent here to accompany my Lady to where ever she may travel."He said coolly.

Kitana narrowed her eyes."How did you even know I was here?"She leaned towards him."Did the elder send you, Tolem?"To follow where I go and send back messages of my hiding places?"

Eresain tensed, "So you are going to accompany us then?" He looked to Kitana as she asked several questions. He didn't like the idea of the man, whom seemed to have a thing for Kitana, to accompany them. Eresain looked at Tolem with narrowed eyes full of distrust.

Lupay heard that this man planned to accompany them and frowned. 'Odds are the elder sent him thought Lupay.

Tolem didn't answer b words.He had spun Kitana around with the sword still at her throat causing her to drop her weapon and gasp."I knew it."She growled."Your working for the elder."She could feel the change coming on and glanced at Eresain warningly before the transformation began slowly.Yolem wasn't noticing."Anyone moves and the girl dies."He hissed.

Eresain stopped himself from lunging forward. He snarled something under his breath then noticed Kitanas warning glass. Eresain gave the slightest nod and took a few steps back with his hand up. He watched as she began to change.

Lupay could scent Kitanas change and remained still watching the scene.

"Now my Princess."Tolem said as he began to drag her back."We are traveling by portal, back to our homeland."Kitana answered with a low growl.She then let the Change explode and Tolem was thrown back as Kitana shifted and felt to the ground on all fours shaking the nausea from he head with a snarl.She turned and stalked towards Tolem, head low and ears flat."What...?"Tolem was shocked and he staggered to his feet.

Eresain was about to go after them then stopped. Kitana had gone to a full change blowing Tolem backwards. He kept his eyes on Tolem and sent a green tendril that dragged away his weapons.

Lupay stalked out of the brush and next to Eresain watching the two of them.

Kitana snared as Tolem staggered to his feet and she stalked towards him."Go Tolem.Away from here.If you so much as breath a word to the Elder of our location, that smirk on your face will be the last thing you do."

Eresain chuckled at Kitanas threat knowing it was true, "You should take her word Tolem, for your own good." He crossed his arms over his chest and focused his pale eyes on Tolem

Lupay flicked his tail and crouched down bareing his teeth in a smile of amusment

Telem, face white, turned and ran.Kitana chuckled after the portal he created disappeared but turned to her friends with a serious look in her eyes.She shifted and spoke quickly."We cannot delay the journey any further.I don't trust Tolem.We need to move swiftly and leave no trace of where it is we are going."

Eresain frowned at the sudden seriousness then nodded, he whistled for his Creo whom came running from the river. "Shall we head out now then?" Eresain climbed up on to the Creo looking down at Lupay and Kitana.

Lupay nodded his head and said, "I think we should go, or just hunt him down and end his petty life. He could only cause us trouble." Lupays tone was low

Kitana shook her head as she shifted and spoke through her mind."That would only waste time that is sliding away from us.Let's move."Kitana barked and bounded off into the trees at a swift run.She knew they would be tracked.The sooner they reached their destination the better.

Eresain liked Lupays idea but new they were running out of some time. He nudged the Creo in to a run just behind Kitana. He kept near her and looked around as they went, the trees whispered danger to him but he shook it off going back to silence.

Lupay snorted then ran after the two of them, he could easily catch up and when he did he kept up a steady pace.

Kitana ran in silence.She had many things on her mind which made her want to stop and scream because it hurt so much.But she didn't.She continued on and on until darkness fell and they were near a clearing where a small pool occupied it's space.Kitana paused and looked around.

Eresain started to doze off as they continued to go it was sapping at his energy to keep the Creo moving. His eyes moved to the vlearing Kitana had stopped in. Eresain dropped off the Creo and on to his feet. "Can we rest for the night here?" His blonde hair looked nearly whit in the moonlight as he looked to Kitana.

Lupay was starting to fall behind by the time they stopped. He wasn't used to running for so long. His legs hav in and he laid down looking at the clearing while panting.

Kitana sat on her haunches panting and shifted in response, falling to her knees, clearly exhausted."He may rest here for tonight.We will continue at first light tomorrow."

Eresain mumbled, "Thank you." He went over to a soft spot of grass and flopped down in it. Eresain put on arm under his head as he laid on his stomach. The Creo laid down tired too, it spread on it's side with a sigh.

Lupay let his head down on his paws and closed his eyes, he almost instantly fell asleep.

Kitana sat where she was as the boys settled for rest.She couldn't say what she wanted to do but all she did was fall back onto the grass and was asleep within the second her eyes were closed.

Eresain fell asleep soon after Kitana did. His dreams were troubled and rolled on to his side becoming restless. The trees wouldn't stop bothering him about the danger of the wasteland ahead.

Lupay snored his dreams untroubled

When daylight appeared, Kitana awoke feeling mostly refreshed and stood stretching her aching muscles.She went to the boys and gave them each a tap to the cheek to wake them.

Eresain groaned as he woke up. He looked over sleepily at Kitana, he hadn't gotten much sleep but he hauled himself up in to sitting position. Then he stood up and willed his Creo up also. Creo stood up and yawned and shook off.

Lupay grumbled and woke up, he stood up and stretched with a yawn,
