Lupay nodded without hesitation and steped through the portal, he found this trip a bit better and waited for the others. 'I only want to go home.' He thought.

Eresain returned the smile to Kitana and started to walk towards it. He suddenly heard the hissing sound again and turned fast to see the Putinor slinking up behind Kitana. The Putinor flicked its tongue acrossed Kitanas ankle, the acidic substance instantly started burning at the soft tendon on her ankle. Eresain shouted in surprise and lunged towards Kitana, he roughly shoved her through the portal and leaped after her. The Putinor latched its teeth on to Eresain's leg, a pained cry erupted from his throat as he fell forward, luckily he fell in to the portal just before it closed.

Kitana winced at a sudden pain in her ankle but had no time to look down.She was shoved through the portal hearing a cry as they faded into the colors.She had seen Lupay go through, hopefully he was alright.She started to feel nausea and then her head smacked against solid marble and darkness took her for a moment before she could see the white marbled ceiling above her.She was sprawled on the floor dazed.She knew where they were and her lips pulled back in a smile, a sigh of relief escaping her nose.She sat up and looked around for her friends.Eresain was the first person to mind.Her ankle stung.She saw acid and her jaw tightened.

Lupay was starting to stand up when saw Kitana tumble through the portal. He looked her ankle and gasped, "What happened?" He looked around for Eresain, the lad had yet to show up. He crouched by Kitana and looked at the acid that was burning.

Eresain tumbled out of the portalllanding on the marble with a dull thud. He instantly tried to scramble to his feet but fell over, The acid from where the Putinor had bitten his leg was sizzling, burning through the skin and sinking in to the bite wound. He looked around wildly to make sure Kitana had gotten through, once he spotted her he let out a relieved breath. He clenched his jaw, the only sound from him was his quick breathes.

Kitana jumped wen she heard Lupay beside her."I'm fine."Was all she could say to him because Eresain had fallen through the portal which closed behind him.He glanced her was and she saw the way he was holding his leg.She scrambled up ignore the intense pain and fell in front of Eresain."Are you alright?"She asked though she failed to realize her teeth were clenched with pain.

Lupay looked over as Eresain fell out of the portal. He went over to both of them as Kitana went straight to Eresain. He said, "I'll get something for the burning." Lupay stood and ran looking for a ource of water knowing that would help clean the wounds.

Eresain looked to Kitana and leaned over grabbing the end og his jeans rolling them up. The full wound was revealed he looked from her to the wound. "It hurts...Are you ok?" He had spoken, his voice was rough but pleasant to listen to, it was much different from the thoughts he sent which were smooth. He reached a hand out noticing her ankle and rasped, "Your ankle..."

Kitana watched Lupay go and listened to Eresain voice.She twisted away when he tried to reach for her ankle.Don't.It's fine."Even as she said those words she knew they weren't true."I'll be fine."She added softly."I'm more worried about you."With a gentle sweep of her hand over Eresains wound Kitana cast a spell which drained some of the pain away.

Lupay ran outside of the building and found a stream. He instantly grabbed a empty water bottle out of his backpack and filled it with water. He started running back to the two

Eresain let out a soft sigh as most of the pain ebbed away from the wound. "No you're not Kitana, the acid will burn through your tendon, let me help you." he said, his voice lingered as he said Kitanas name. He reached out his hand again, his slender fingers wrapped gently around her wrist. The green tendrils slowly went to her ankle and took away the acid, he wasnt able to heal the wound though. He still kept his soft grip on her wrist.

Kitana watched as the pain ebbed from her ankle.Now, as Eresain had a gentle hold of her hand, she remembered the way his hands felt through her fur when she was in wolf form.He heart thudded in her chest and she slipped her hand from of his before changing to the white wolf once more and staggered on three legs towards him and fell next to him laying her muzzle on one of his outstretched legs'Why do I feel this way?'She hadn't realized she sent the thought out to Eresain.

Lupay walked to see Kitana in her wolf form with her head resting on Eresains outstretched legs. He walked over and set the water bottle down by them.

Eresain stroked her fur again gently, he answered her thought, 'What do you mean? Are you in pain? Your heart beat has increased slightly...' He hadn't fully understood the question and he wasn't aware of how his touch affected her. His hands glided to her muzzle then rested his hand on her neck again. He nodded his thanks to Lupay.

Kitana glanced her golden gaze to lupay before answering Eresains question.'I think I ma have..."She trailed off.As Eresain continued to stroke her she raised her head and licked at his cheek unable to say the words.She gave a small whine and then stood on three legs.'Thank you Lupay'She had sent the thought to him and limped towards it.She laid on her side beside the water and Changed back to the elf.She was on her side and sat up so that she could take the bottle of water and carefully poured it atop her blazing skin.She cringed and growled at the pain but it began to reside.

Lupay nodded, "Your welcome." He observed the two of them and tilted his head. He wathced Kitana and looked at Eresain who was also watching Kitana as she shifted back.

Eresain blinked at her answer unsure of what she was going to say. But, he smiled as she licked his cheek, he couldn't help but have feelings for her. He had known her for longer than she thought. His eyes watched as Kitana cringed and growled in pain. He looked up at Lupay, he could tell the boy did not like him that much. Eresain braced himself against the wall and stood up keeping his weight off his bad leg. 'It should heal soon' he thought. He began to look around his surroundings. He touched Kitanas shoulder gingerly, 'Where are we?' he asked.

Kitana, once the pain resided though the would was there stood wobbly on on leg and gazed around when Eresain touched her shoulder."This is the Elven Temple.It's sacred and sanctuary to any of our kind.We'll be safe here for a while.There is supplies down that hall which we can use."She pointed to an open door at the other side of the room.Then she ;imped towards a large statue in the form of a wingless angle with the resemblance of an elf.Kitana cast a spell which changed her warriors clothing into a white gown.She paused in front of the statue and muttered something in the ancient language of her people.The statue began to glow.

Lupay wanders down the hall in the other direction.

Eresain nodded, "That is interesting..." He only chose to spoke when he was alone with Kitana. He walked leaning against the wall some what, following Kitana. As he watched her warrior clothing change in to a white gown the quiet thought he kept to himself, 'She is beautiful' His hand rested against the cool surface of the wall, moss began to grow on the wall and he moved his hand away from it. When the statue began to glow Eresain looked away.

Kitana, envisioning the angel herself, nodded and spoke aloud."Angel Salain, I ask for guidance."The angel nodded and said."Go far to the east, Kitana.To the woodlands of Moon the Bear.Search for a man named Kelt.He will guide you on the rest of your journey."Kitana nodded but saw the angel frown."Kamaji is not amongst you.You have gained a Shadow Demon and a Wood Dweller.Kamaji is dead."Kitana clenched her jaw but the angel smiled."Do not worry my child.He is with us.Call on him in a time of need you will."When Kitana was about to speak the vision vanished.Kitana stood in silence until her gaze slipped to Eresain who had been watching her.

Kitana was silent for a while before she answered him."I'll be fine.The angle healed my wound."She said softly then, we will stay here and recover the strength we need before we travel by foot to the western woodlands known as Moon of the Bear."She turned to face him and blinked at how close he was.She was sure she had blushed.

Kitana smiled slightly."I have only been there once.A training exercise."She fell silent at a loss for words and the moment began to feel awkward.She stepped back and began to turn towards the open door, thinking she should ready supplies.

Kitana said nothing as she went into the food cupboard and started debating on which foods to take.She was an expert hunter and so they wouldn't need much since food would be along the road.She took a block of cheese some spices and bread.She was wrapping them into cloths and such when a pang shot through her ankle and she yelped.She lifted her skirt to reveal her bared ankle.A red mark was left from the wound and it glowed strangely now.Kitana's barren feet itched as she dropped her skirt and left the two packs of supplies on the counter before she ran outside and down the steps of the temple and disappeared into the dense forest that surrounded the safe house.

Kitana ran until she came to the small stream miles from the temple.She felt herself change and stared at her reflection.Even though she was a wolf, she saw the elven princess she was in the water.Her left back paw ached.The wound glowed on and off.She new something was wrong but wasn't sure what.Why did things like this happen to her?Why was she in love with someone she hardly knew but felt she knew him from a long lost past?She was ageless and watched the world turn but why?What would she find when she consulted with the man the angel had told her to find?

Kitana jumped when a sound came from behind her.She nearly fell into the creek but caught herself and backed up as she turned.A large deer like animal stood before her and she could see Eresain as well.She ran her tongue along her upper jaw nervously but stared at the two with steady gold eyes.'Why are you here?'She said in her mind.She tried to stand at an angle so that they wouldn't notice the glowing red mark on her back paw.
