Kitana flicked her ears at the sound and barked in reliefe.She nudged Kamaji with her muzzle and he moaned awake.Ktana knew she needed to tell him about Eresain but could she tell him?What would he do if she did?

Kamaji awoke to soft fur against his cheek and sat up rubbing sleep from his eyes.He gazed at the white wolf and frowned.Kitana?"The white wolf whined and nodded."Change back."He said.The whine reply was like snapping the word no at him.He rose to his feet and grabbed her by the scruff, angrily.She let out a yelp as he dug his fingers into her neck fur fist tightening."You have caused me enough trouble for one day.Kamaji waved a hand and a chain link appeared.He threw it over her head and with a spell connected the other end to the thick trunk of a tree.The white wolf pulled at the chain the links diffing into her skin and fur drawing blood.She was trapped.He even put rope on her muzzle to keep her quiet....

Lupay started heading towards the howl of Kitana, he had a few miles to cover so he started to run. I would be there in a few hours maybe even two. He howled again to get a direct heading and kept running.

Eresain had fallen asleep at the base of the tree, his forearm was still burned and raw flesh stood out. He exhaled as he covered his wound in a gauze like leaf and pulled his sleeve over it. The pain was still there but it had faded enough to be bearable. He looked up at the sun and judged the time, he started towards the trio at a faster speed. He could sense two of the three ahead the third on his way...

Kitana struggled but it was no use.''Eresain'She tried to reach his mind but something hit her in the back of her head and she slipped into darkness

Kamaji threw the branch he used aside and stared down at the white wolf which lay on it's side unconscious.He considered taking her back to the elder.How dare she talk to someone like the filthy wooded dweller about her expectant child to be born.The child he knew would be hos son.No one else.The elder was right.He knelt and stroked the wolfs side, soft fur tickling between his fingers.Blood ran from the back of her head bu it wasn't fatal.He bent to kiss the wolf gently atop her head.

Lupay continued to run, he could catch the scent of blood on the air and picked up his pace. He forced his long legs to go faster. His sides were heaving and he had to slow down and catch his breath.

Eresain caught the wisp of a thought, it was Kitanas voice but it was cut off. Soon Eresain slid amoung the shadows and saw Kamaji strike Kitana causing her to fall unconscious. He kept and eye on Kamaji as he moved around the tree, he reached out a hand to touch her. He was able to hold on to her back paw, 'Kitana, are you ok? I know he struck you but I must know are still able to hear me.' He sent his thoughts in to her dream state. He remained tense but was focused on sending the thought to Kitana.

Kitana heard a voice in the darkness.She tried to speak but couldn't.She felt herself twitch.A hand was on her back leg.

Kamaji had formed a clear bubble before him and a man was visible inside."What do you want?"The elder snapped."I have the girl and i will deliver her to you."The elder smiled."My plan is going well.Is the wood dweller there too?""I have had yet to locate him.""Alright here is what you must do then..."Kamaji knew he was not alone.

Kitana began to regain consciousness and felt her muzzle free.She sat up on her side and saw-Eresain.'You came for me?'Her voice was sad.But at the sound of a crack from a twig kitana flinched and saw kamaji standing over her.

kamaji had his eyes on the boy."You came to save a girl not worth saving boy.It was foolish of you.Both of you are caught.Kamaji formed a swirling ball of white light in his palm as he stared at the wood dweller."I here your kind is quite rare."Kamaji added after a pause."They are not the warrior type you see."

Kitana rolled away and started pulling at the chain to try and free herself.But kamaji snatched her by the chain it's self and held her at his side.She twisted to try and free herself but she couldn't.But she still tried.

Kamaji stared at the boy."You will accompany me back to the elven castle or I will harm her."Kamaji threatened.He pulled a blade and the wolf began to struggle more fiercely

Kamaji saw him nod and stepped forward,grabbing the boy by his arm firmly and pulled him over to another tree where he used magic to bind the boys hands in shackles.He then threw the wolf to the side with a yelp as he went a short distance and the clear bubble appeared.Kamaji told him the news.The wolf arose with a painful whine.Her shoulder had been dislocated.

Kitana whined when Eresain looked at her.She wished Lupay were around.At the though of Lupay kitana raised her muzzle to release a warning howl out to Lupay.

Lupay was already on the scene, he lunged from the forest in his lion form. His body twisted as he saw Eresain in shackles and Kitana wounded. He roared and turned to Kamaji lungeing at him. Lupays body slammed against Kamajis.

Eresain shook his shackles again and started to pull away of the chains wanting to help. He looked to Kitana again then to the lion and Kamaji as the brawled.

Kitana was taken aback ny lupays sudden entry but she began to pull at her chain ignoring the pain in her leg or neck.She pulled so hard that the chain was beginning to bend.

Kamaji was stunned when the white lion hit him and they fell.He dug his fingers into lupays fur and tried to through the beast off.Then he threw a ball of light and kamaji was on his feet once more.His face red hot he stormed towards the lion with a knife in his hand.

kitana was watching kamaji and she ferociously began to twist in her bonds.Her jaws were wide and spittle flung from her jaw.Her growls vicious.

Lupay snarled, "I have had enough of you!!" He charged at Kamaji again not careing about the knife. He reared up and sunk his claws in to his shoulders and sank his long fangs in to his right shoulder. A snarl erupted from his throat and he started to shake his head still holding on to Kamaji.

Eresain began try and use magic to break Kitana and his bonds. His movements were desperate and erratic

Kitana barked growls as Lupay lunged at Kamaji once more.She saw his knife and heard the fleshy sound as it lodged into Lupays skin.Kitana whined and with one final furious twist, the chain snapped and Kitana burst forward and leaped ignoring all pain as kamaji pushed Lupay away from him.She landed on him front paws first and he fell back.Kitana snapped her jaws at his throat and this time, she didn't hold back. She tasted blood and the body went limp

Lupay roared feeling the blade sink in to his flesh, then all in a blur he sees Kitana standing over Kamajis limp body. He sat down and shifted back to his human form, he held on to the end of the knife and pulled it out. He placed a hand over the wound to hold in the bleeding.

Eresain Pulled one more time on his chain and it broke. He goes straight to Lupay and places his hand upon the wound, the green tendrils do their job and heal him. Eresain then goes to Kitana and places a hand on her back gently trying to guide her from the body. 'You have done what you needed to do Kitana, we should leave the area.

Lupay stands up and nods thanks to Eresain, :We really should go Kitana, who knows what the elder will do next..." He looks at Kitana seriously

Kitana growled as she was moved away from the body but it slipped into a whine at the realization at what she'd done.She'd killed him.Her betrothed was dead.Tears glistening her eyes she stepped away.At their words Kitana moved away from them, she knew a place to stay.'We should make haste to a portal Eresain.I need to go to my ancestors temple for guidence'This thought was sent to both of them but her eyes were on Eresain.She felt guild inside herself.

Lupay nodded, he noticed the tears in her eyes and says, "You did the right thing, don't worry." He looked to Eresain still not knowing anything about him. Kitana seemed to trust him though so that was enough.

Eresain nodded to Kitana, he kept his hand in her fur to communicate. 'We will need yo get back to the clearing then, I have a faster way we can get there.' He knew he might not be able to travel through the portal with them but, He new he had to help them though.

Kitana nodded at both their words.'I have enough power to create and get us through the portal.'She paused a moment then made it so only her thoughts reached Eresain.'Will you be coming with us?I do not wish to leave you behind.'Her voice was shaky slightly and she pressed her head to his leg.The words she wanted to say would not come to her lips.

Lupay put his hands in his pockets. "Portals... those things are quite unpleasant in my opinion..." He looked to Kitana and Eresain whom seemed to be having a conversation, "You two ready to go then?"

Eresain looked at Kitana and smiled, 'I will try but I cannot guarantee it... I will follow you as far as I can.' He pet her head gently sensing something about her that she wasn't revealing.

Kitana was about to reply when she felt the change and now she was her elven self.Her hair was down in long waves and her eyes back to their original color.She gazed between Lupay and Eresain before nodding."Come."She said in an orderly voice.She made for the clearing where the pool had been.The pool that was said to be forbidden to anyone who are not of the land.Kitana hadn't noticed she was walking so close.When she paused she turned to see if the others had followed and then turned back closing her eyes to picture the portal before her.

Lupay watched as Kitana changed back to her elven self. He found himself looking at her for too long and snapped back into reality at her voice. His eyes focused on Eresain who was looking at her too, he then turned and followed her a small distance behind.

Eresain watched with interest as Kitana changed. His pale eyes looked her over with a mild curiosity. He then could feel Lupays eyes on him and he looked away casually. Eresain noticed how close they were to the pool and jogged over to it. He knelt down and cupped his hands in the water and took a quick drink before going back to stand but Lupay and Kitana. He hoped that he would be able to get through the Portal without the Putinor noticing.

Kitana stretched out her arms as she heard her friends joining her.She was at the peak of the portal appearing and then with a flick of her wrists the dazzling swirl of colors appeared.She turned to them."Both of you must go first while i hold the portal open.I will be right behind you."She met Eresains gaze."I have made the conditions light so that when you travel it should be fairly smooth."She had a sweet smile on her face, eyes bright but seriousness lingered in them.
